ramadan 2015 - lessons about being kicked

First thing first, it's Ramadhan season, and so this blog might not be uploaded with new stuff for some time.
Malaysia is still as it is. No significant changes despite prayers or cries.

One simple thing I learnt during this Ramadhan is, oppression lives.

If you are weak, people will kick you.

People, when in power and advantages, oppresses the weak. They can chose not to.
But history and Real Life that you see out there will show you statistically man will choose to oppress.

Yes, people will preach me about paradise and the hereafter. You can preach about patience, perseverance of Ramadhan, etc.

But I’m talking about the present, right now

Religion is not an excuse to make you being kicked by others. Blame your poor misunderstanding.

Please. Get strong and do not get weak.
Being weak is allowing yourself to be kicked like shit.

cad

As a frequent user of autoCAD, I just share this as there are readers of this blog/Tumblr who use autoCAD.

I always used "GROUP" functions rather than "BLOCK" functions....things which are "GROUP" then can be "UNGROUP" after manipulation, i.e. SCALE, ROTATE, etc....

for SCALE and ROTATE, rather than putting any value, try to put R (R for Reference)...it works wonders.

then to turn off layers not needed I always use "LAYOFF" rather than opening Layer Properties...

nevertheless, you'll remember all commands this by practice rather by memorising....

this is only to help.

and, in the least, any engineer, architect or whoever had the necessity to work in autoCAD, should in the least know how to to PLOT, use the "1/150xp" command, (1/150 being the scale you want, you can choose any number, i.e. 1/100, 1/300, etc)...then manipulating Plot Style Manager to get the plotting result you want.

Don't ask me for advice by email, etc., rather do it by trial and error. Nothing beats experience.

I'm basically studying this, on this weekend. Yup PLC. nothing to do with my current work. but I think Mechanical engineers should familiarize with this subject, at least for knowledge.

and so, good nite folks and enjoy your weekend.

Breadfan, open up your mind, open up your purse,
Open up your bones, never, never gonna lose it.
Breadfan, take it all away, never give an inch,
Gotta make a mint, gotta make me a million.
Breadfan, you got it wrong, some long time friend's
Gonna lose it in the end, who's a fool.
Seagull, give it all away, stay a bird, stay a man,
Stay a ghost, stay what you wanna be.

Loser, give it all away, never stay with the winner,
With the man with all the filthy money.
Come on, keep it on the side, with a ride on a record,
On the top if you're gonna be a bad boy.
Breadfan, you got it wrong, some long time friend's
Gonna lose it in the end, who's a fool.
Seagull, give it all away, stay a bird, stay a man,
Stay a ghost, stay what you wanna be.

Seagull, give it all away, stay a bird, stay a man,
Stay a ghost, stay what you wanna be.

paradise

Note : Above photo is a recent accident in construction in Malaysia.

PARADISE

My parents named me Firdaus, which is an Arabic name for Paradise.

Teachers and adults raised me up telling me Malaysia was such a great country.

It is Paradise, they said.

Yeah it is warm and hot with occasional rainy days in between. Malaysia is a fertile land. There shouldn’t be any starving cases in Malaysia.

But there was. Baling in 1974. It wasn’t reported in mainstream media, for fear of “public security”.

It’s only when I started my job in construction business that made me felt, Paradise on this living earth, is nothing but a class struggle.

The workers, built screeded floors with finishes, only to find that these majestic floors will be walked upon by the other people who are economically better.

The workers, built brickwalls upon concrete slabs, creating space to be filled by other people who are well-better off.

And these workers, some died in their jobs. I’ve seen it, I’ve heard it, I’ve lived through it.

If we learned Heat Transfer in Physics, the greater the temperature difference (delta T), then the rate of heat transfer increases.

Can we imply and conclude that the greater the income difference, then the rate of migration of people to Malaysia increases as well?

If we intend to make Malaysia to have higher income by year 2020, then shouldn’t it cause the greater economic disparity between us?

Then I realised.

If Paradise to exist, then Hell is required, isn’t it?

What is the cost incurred to make Malaysia a Paradise then, and could you afford it?
