pyramids

http://zenpencils.com/comic/ozymandias/

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away

29 October 2014 Kerajaan

Asal semua benda
Kau nak tanya kerajaan
Apa nama yang mak ayah kau perlu letak kepada kau
Apa jenis makanan yang kau makan
Dari cabang sungai mana air kau minum

Asal semua benda
Kau tunggu kebenaran kerajaan
Apa bahasa kau bercakap
Apa agama kau anut
Dan sekolah apa yang patut kau masuk

Asal semua benda

(Ikut kata mereka, bukan suruh kau berfikir)

Kau marah bila kerajaan naikkan harga barang, harga itu dan ini,
Yuran itu dan ini, pinjaman itu dan ini
Kau menyumpah seranah bila kerajaan rampas harta kau

Kalau semua benda kau kena dengar kata
Dan semua benda kau kena bergantung harap?

GOVERNMENT
The Malay poem above is by ComradeNami @ Nami Cobbler, a writer in Malaysia, taken from his Tumblr tehtarikgelasbesar.tumblr.com

I read that entry quite sometime ago, then just at this moment I had this bloody idea. With regards to what’s happening in Malaysia.

Malaysia is in decline, let’s not deny it.

There’s a soccer/football game between Malaysia and Vietnam (AFF Suzuki Cup) just now. Most indian-muslim eating outeries (Kedai Mamak) is full of Malaysian looking with eyes full hope, after recent winning over Singapore.

What happen then is sickening to my eyes.

Malaysian started to lose belief with Malaysian team after the leading goal. Then Malaysians were awarded penalty, we scored, but what happen was, most guys at the eating outeries were starting to give focus more towards their handphones rather than the game.

You start to lose your faith. Your belief.

That’s why I hate rhetoric preaching about Malaysia Boleh or whatever noises they came out with. You just do and achieve it. If you don’t then no amount of quantum mega noises could change that faltering losing of belief.

I believe in seeing results. That’s why Machivelli is honest because it is brutally honest and objective, only the results matter, no sort of cock-talking could ever change the perspective because we, as humans, we believe in results.

The problem why Malaysians nowadays are not really into politics is simply because we couldn’t see much results and improvements.

If Goverment is a god, then it is a false god simply because it needs bereaucracies to answer prayers.
And so, Malaysian government should not act like god or religion. It should not ask people to be thankful for its acts and deeds.

Just function and produce results. Let our eyes determines rather than our ears.

Recently I bought for RM15. a book “The Malay Sultanate of Malacca” by Muhammad Yusoff Hashim (I buy used books at 3rd floor Kajang Metropoint nowadays).
Is Malaysia in decline, yes it is.

I think Malaysia nowadays is having the same bloody pattern with Malacca during its peak. Political shit here and there.

No wonder Malaysians starts to lose our faith. Our belief. And what happens next is, we get pretty cynical with it, we make jokes about it, we started not to give a shit to Malaysian patriotism and focus more in our handphones. What a pity.

The magnitude of bitter loss
Broken in two
Subtle vain attempts

Falling your demise
Hated worth content with loss
Utopia denied
Falling your demise

You'll never clutch a shred of peace
Inside your clouded mind
Forgotten left behind
Far blocked and blind

Inner self is mere shadows
Forgotten is yourself
You'll never clutch a shred of peace
Inside your clouded mind
